November was a huge month for new clients! Welcome to the 41 Orange family! We kicked off Connect&Sell, Caidenn and Gravity and WindWater resigned! We can’t wait to help you with your marketing goals in 2020 and beyond!
Congratulations to our client Intraratio for hosting a very successful event on November 21st! We can’t wait to help with upcoming events.
Keep Calm & Drink a Mimosa
Happy Birthday to our very own Sam Anderson! We celebrated our COO’s birthday with a mimosa toast and our favorite breakfast food - bagels!
The whole team pitched in to decorate the entire office with balloons, streamers and birthday signs to make her birthday extra special on November 7th! Thank you Sam for everything you do for us, we love you!
The birthday celebrations didn’t end there. We also celebrated Shayla, our Content QUEEN’s birthday on November 25th! We hope all of your birthday wishes came true!
Thankful, Grateful & Blessed
We started getting into the holiday spirit in the office and celebrated our very own Worksgiving! We went all out with the most delicious turkey you’ve ever had, made by our very own Gregg Anderson (a Coast Guard Chef Veteran! So yah… it had a lot of butter and fell apart effortlessly on your fork.) Other sides included Mac n’ Cheese, homemade butternut squash soup, stuffing, pies, mash potatoes…. and our favorite side dish that took the cake Buffalo Chicky Dip… we’ll send you the recipe!
We have a lot to be grateful for at 41 Orange and we thank Sam and Gregg Anderson for making 41 Orange an amazing place to work.
We hope you all had a relaxing Thanksgiving with your families and we are very thankful for all of our clients, friends and family who support 41 Orange’s growth.
Our cheers winner of the month was a tie between Ashley and Shayla! Way to go ladies! Our little orange friend Ryan Gosling got passed from Sam Pearson to Mikayla for all her incredible hard work with the multiple events that happened this month including North County San Diego Exclusive Executive Marketing Social and the preparation for OC CEO Dining & Forum Experience and Exclusive CEO Social Event which we partnered with Signature Analytics. Way to kill it Mikayla!
Merry Everything - Our December Recap:
We couldn’t wait for December! Throughout the month we were enjoying the holiday spirit by playing holiday music and decorating with a full sized tree in the office! During one of our Weekly Wednesday lunches we had a fun TrueColors Charades workshop where we worked on our TrueColors identifying skills. It was a great bonding experience and we really worked on internal acting skills, watch out Hollywood, 41 Orange is here!
In November the Passion Project Committee reunited and reflected on our successful 5th Year Anniversary Party in September of 2019. We started to brainstorm how we wanted to structure our Passion Project in 2020. In December we started brainstorming what we as committee were feeling passion for. Updates soon to come - stay tuned!
It’s a Boy!
We had a gender reveal party early in December to celebrate the newest 41 Orange family member on the way! Sam Pearson, one of our most amazing strategists is expecting a baby boy in 2020 and we can’t wait to welcome the little man to the world and to the Savvy Sloth team!
Dance Like Nobody's Watching
Our Senior Project Coordinator celebrated her dance debut for both salsa and bachata teams and killed it on stage! Way to go Bri! We’re so excited to go see a live show soon!
We celebrated the Cabrillo Office Plaza Holiday party by indulging in espresso drinks and pastries and even some of us won gifts at the raffle giveaway! But that wasn't the last of the parties in true Friday the 13th fashion we had a Nightmare Before Christmas 41 Orange Holiday Party held at the Westpark recreation room. We had our annual white elephant gift exchange which was a bit hit and we exchanged some super fun and creative gifts with each other. Plus we sat around the fire place and got competitive with the arcade games.
Holly Jolly Friday
The Friday before our holiday break was one to remember! We started the morning with a hot cocoa bar with candy canes and whip cream galore!
We were also celebrating our CEO’s Gregg Anderson’s birthday by pranking his desk with a full spread of Monsters and Ballast Point IPA’s covering his whole desk! Happy Birthday Gregg! Thank you for being an amazing boss - we greatly appreciate all your hard work!
For lunch we went to Liberty Station public market to celebrate our Account Coordinator Aidan’s last day! We will miss her but we’re excited to see where her new journey in sustainability will take her!
At the end of the day we celebrated with some margaritas in Old Town and played our new favorite game in the office - Loteria! It was a truly holly jolly Friday and fun holiday send off!
We can’t wait to ring the new year with our clients by kicking off with our 2020 plans! We hope you all have a happy and safe new year and that 41 Orange is a part of your 2020 goals. Some of the resolutions we have are:
- Ashley: "Working towards taking care of herself and her living environment and planning more activities in advance."
- Beth: "Instead of making a resolution she likes to choose a word of the year. This year she has picked “balance”. We have so many things going on at any given moment on any given day, so balance is something that she would like to work towards remembering."
- Bianca: "Working towards making every moment count personally and professionally."
- Bri: "Working towards morning walks and weekly reflective journaling."
- Diana: "Working towards being kinder to herself."
- Jenny: "Working towards meal prepping with more veggies and no cheese! She is also working towards calling her mom more and prepping for the Boston marathon."
- Mikayla: "Working towards planning less and living in the moment more."
- Sam Anderson: "Working towards taking more vacation days."
- Shayla: "Working towards being better at staying in touch with family and friends."
- Sam Pearson: "Working towards not sweating the small stuff and saying yes more and saying no less. She is also working on being out in the great outdoors more often."
- Gregg: "Working towards working smarter and not harder. He is also working on focusing on what is a priority."
What are you working towards in 2020?
